Star is a gorgeous, well bred, English Labrador with warm-intelligent eyes, English build, gorgeous head, correct double coat, thick otter tail and solid top line. She has exceeded my expectations from the moment I received her at 8 weeks old. I will forever be grateful to her breeder, Julia Bunker/Summerland Labradors, for entrusting me with Star. Star has the ideal Labrador temperament: gentle, eager to please, lover of all humans and other dogs and very easy to train. Star received her CGC (canine good citizen award) with AKC at a very young age of only 7 months old. She went on to receive her first leg towards her CD (Companion Dog Obedience Title) with AKC at only 8 months old. She received 2 more legs to complete the requirements for her title, the final leg was in May 2016. At the trial in May she received a score of 196 out of a possible 200 points and earned first place in the Novice group! (picture to the left shows star with her 1st place ribbon) At a year old Star became a Certified Therapy Dog registered with Alliance for Therapy Dogs and she enjoys visiting Senior Centers, Schools and Hospitals to spread love and comfort!
